Valley Rock Church
Valley Rock Church began as an inspiration planted by God in Pastor Wes to create a Christ centered, Holy Spirit empowered, thriving body of believers; fulfilling the great commission of Christ in the Dayton region. Having many years in the world of night clubs and rock music, Pastor Miller has a heart for the broken and lost. Valley Rock Church was birthed and launched in the spring of 2020. Exciting things are in store for our future as VRC becomes full grown!
Our beliefs...
One God
We believe in One God expressed in three persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Scriptures Inspired
We believe in the authenticity of the infallible and inherent Word of God known as the Holy Bible.
Deity of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He is supreme and Lord of all.
Salvation by Grace
We believe the only means to salvation is by grace thru faith in the finished work of the cross.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit for every believers life; bringing fruit, gifts, and endurment of power for christian living.
Healing
We believe in physical, emotional, and spiritual healing thru belief and application of the finished work of the cross.
Christ's Return
We believe Jesus Christ will return soon for His church and to rule and reign on this earth thru His second coming.
Our Services...
Praise and Worship
We begin every VRC gathering with heartfelt prayer and exuberant praise to our Lord! We promote everyone to worship the Lord as they feel comfortable. Hands lifted, clapping, and dancing are all within the scope of acceptable. We always have a time of worship through the giving an offering to the Lord as well.
Preaching of God's Word
VRC is a strong Word based church. Pastor preaches and teaches weekly a bible based sermon to help people know the Lord and grow in His calling for their life!

Associate Pastors Wes and Kalie McDonald
Pastors Wes and Ashley Miller serve as the lead pastors of Valley Rock Church in Riverside. Together, they bring a passion for evangelism, discipleship, and equipping believers to reach the world for Jesus Christ.
Pastor Wes is the founder of several ministry initiatives, including Valley Rock Academy (theological training), Valley Rock Freedom (recovery and deliverance discipleship), Valley Rock Institute (leadership certifications), Valley Rock Global (ministerial credentialing), and Valley Rock Consulting (church advising). He also leads a vibrant worship ministry as a vocalist and guitarist across the tri-state region.
Pastor Ashley provides oversight for ministry administration and leads R House, an outreach/day center dedicated to serving vulnerable women in North Dayton and beyond.
The Millers make their home in Dayton, Ohio, and are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to two wonderful grandchildren.

Associate Pastors Wes and Kalie McDonald
Wes and Kalie McDonald have a passion for reaching the broken and equipping believers to walk in their God-given identity. Wes serves as Associate Pastor and Worship Leader at Valley Rock Church, while Kalie leads Flourish Women’s Ministry. Married for nine years, they remain active in evangelism and outreach across Dayton and also serve with Dear Dinah Ministries. Their greatest joy is raising their two children, Emmaus and Eden, to be mighty in the Kingdom.

Pastor Kristina is the Children's Pastor of VRC. She is a two year graduate of Masters Commission of greater Cincinnati and has worked in children's ministry for well over 20 years. Pastor Kristina loves children of all ages. In addition to children's ministry, Pastor Kristina also leads VRC's Worshipful interpretive dance team "His Beloved". She and her husband Bryant work for Athletes in Action international ministry and have two sons. They currently reside in Xenia, OH.

Rev. Ron Piercy serves as the head of Mighty Men’s Ministry at Valley Rock Church, where he is passionately dedicated to discipling and strengthening men in their walk with Christ. Coming from a long lineage of church planters and ministry leaders, Rev. Ron carries a rich heritage of faith and service that deeply shapes his leadership today.
In addition to leading Mighty Men’s Ministry, he also oversees Valley Rock Freedom/Identity in Spring Valley, where he ministers to hundreds of men each month. Through his guidance, many have found healing, restoration, and a renewed sense of identity in Christ. Rev. Ron’s heart is to see men rise up as godly leaders in their homes, churches, and communities.

Pastor Beth Piercy serves as the leader of Jr. AMP’d Kidz at Valley Rock Church, where she is passionate about creating a fun, faith-filled environment for children to grow in their relationship with Jesus. In addition to her work with kids, she also serves as Assistant to Pastor Ashley Miller, providing vital support across the many ministries of Valley Rock.
Pastor Beth plays an essential role in both Valley Rock Church and R House Ministries, bringing dedication, creativity, and a servant’s heart to everything she does. Her commitment to building up the next generation and strengthening the church family makes her a key part of the ministry team.
